Swift Resolution for Workers’ Issues: BJMC Begins Formal Operations in Tamil Nadu

The swearing-in ceremony for the new office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor Cell (BJMC)—the labor wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party—was held at a private wedding hall near Kooduvancheri in the Chengalpattu district.

The event commenced with the hoisting of the organization’s flag. Moonavari Begum, the National Vice President of the BJP labor wing, presided over the function, accompanied by State President Arul Kumaran and other key office bearers.

Arnab Chatterjee, the National President of the BJP labor wing, attended the event as a special guest; he congratulated the newly appointed office bearers and delivered an address regarding the organization’s activities.

Key office bearers from the state, district, and union levels participated in the event, where the newly elected officials were formally appointed and congratulated.

The trade union is actively operating across India, and as a continuation of this, a branch has now been established in Tamil Nadu.

The primary objective of this union is to promptly approach both the Central and State governments to secure quick resolutions for the various demands and issues faced by workers in the state.

Although numerous trade unions already operate in Tamil Nadu, they often fail to secure proper or permanent solutions for workers’ problems; specifically, they do not fully bring the workers’ plight to the attention of the Central and State governments.

The Central Government implements various welfare schemes for workers. The BJMC will take vigorous steps to ensure that all benefits—including monthly financial assistance, medical insurance schemes, and educational incentives for the children of unorganized sector workers—reach every worker in Tamil Nadu without exception.

Furthermore, awareness regarding these schemes will be created among the workforce.

In addition to this, the organization aims to provide necessary basic amenities for migrant workers coming to Tamil Nadu and address labor-related issues currently arising in various private companies… He stated that the issues would be brought directly to the attention of the Central Government to find a permanent solution.
