Sarovar Portico, Sriperumbudur brings Thai flavours to Culinary Caravan with ‘Siam Soiree’

Chennai:

Sarovar Portico, Sriperumbudur is hosting Siam Soiree, a Thai culinary pop-up led by Chef Penpak Panjampee, known as Chef Vina, as part of Sarovar Hotels Culinary Caravan initiative. Presented in a buffet format, Siam Soiree will be held during weekdays till September 17, 2026.

Chef Vina brings more than three decades of experience in Thai cuisine. Over the years, she has led Thai food festivals in collaboration with organisations including the Royal Thai Consulate, Thai Trade Center and Tourism Authority of Thailand. Her culinary career has taken her across Thailand, the Maldives, Japan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Turkey and India.

Speaking about the pop-up, Suranjit Sengupta, Corporate Director – Food & Beverages, Sarovar Hotels, said, “The idea behind Culinary Caravan is to allow our hotels to bring distinct culinary traditions closer to their guests through chefs who understand those cuisines from experience. Each edition has its own identity, shaped by the chef and the food being presented. With Siam Soiree, Chef Vina brings that perspective to Thai cuisine, and we are pleased to have this edition travel to Sriperumbudur.”

Siam Soiree is one of the chef-led culinary experiences being presented under Culinary Caravan across select Sarovar hotels.
